Maples Pavillion

Roscoe Maples Pavilion is located at 655 Campus Drive midway between Galvez Street and Serra Street on Campus Drive, standing newly remodeled and freshly landscaped adjacent to the Arrillaga Family Sports Center and across the street from the even newer Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation.

Parking

Parking is available in the Galvez Field lot on Friday. On Saturday parking is available in both the Maples and Serra Parking lots.

You will find a number of disabled parking spaces facing Campus Drive in the Maples parking lot, and in front of Parking and Transportation Services on Bonair Siding.

Entrance

For the 2008 National Collegiate Taekwondo Championships the only entrance for competitors, coaches, and spectators is located on the northwest corner of the building, marked with an arrow in the diagram to your right.

Pass Pickup

Competitors and coaches pick up their passes at the registration desk at the north west corner of Maples Pavillion. Competitors must pickup their passes prior to weighing in.

Weigh-ins

Weigh-ins are in the northeast corner of Maples. After picking up their match cards competitors should proceed to the weigh in area and have their weights recorded. The rules governing weigh-ins are here while the weigh-in schedule is available here.

JumboTron and Floor Access

In order to ensure spectators have an unobstructed view and that there is enough room on the floor for medical personel, competitors will only be allowed onto the floor three matches prior to their fight.

Current and upcoming match numbers for each ring are displayed on on the JumboTron screen at the center of Maples Pavillion, as well as on LCD monitors positioned at key areas on the spectator concourse.
