The 2008 Stanford University International Taekwondo Summer Camp will be held on August 9 through 14. Click the link above to check out our brand-new Web site!
Stanford Taekwondo will resume practice for the summer quarter beginning Tuesday June 24th at the Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation. The schedule wil be as follows:
Beginner Class (White/Yellow/Greenbelts): 6:15 - 7:30 PM on Tuesday and Thursday
Intermediate/Advanced Class (Blue/Red/Blackbelts): 7:30 - 9:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday
Sparring/Competition Class (Yellowbelts and above): 10:00 am - 12:00 on Saturday

The 2008 Stanford Taekwondo Spring Open is just over 2 weeks away. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, May 24th at Maples Pavilion on the campus of Stanford University.
Open to adults and children of all levels, the tournament features both kyorugi (sparring) and poomsae (forms) competition, double elimination, matted rings, match numbering system, electronic scoring system, and referee refresher on Friday night (night before the tournament).

Congratulations to all of our Stanford competitors at this past weekend’s National Collegiate Taekwondo Championships. Everyone competed hard and represented both Stanford University and the Stanford Taekwondo Program with highest level of professional sportsmanship.

The Stanford Taekwondo Program is honored to be hosting the 33rd National Collegiate Taekwondo Championships. On April 25th-26th, 2008, over 300 collegiate taekwondo competitors of all ranks from universities from across the country will be vying for the distinguished title of national champion. This championship serves as the first step for blackbelt competitors looking to earn a spot on the 2008 US National Collegiate Taekwondo Team, which will represent the United States at the 10th World University Taekwondo Championships later this summer in Belgrade, Serbia. At their most recent tri-meet Stanford and UC-Davis tied for 1st place with 13 wins each. UC-Berkeley came in 3rd with 9 wins.
Stanford’s final tri-meet will be April 5th against UC-San Diego and USC.


Stanford will be hosting a Women’s Workout on December 2nd. The event is open to green belts and up who are at least ten years old.
